With over 30+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Certified Life Care Planner, and Work Capacity Evaluator, Jodi brings clarity to challenging disability cases.

Jodi has assessed thousands of individuals and has extensive experience with court testimony. With over 20 years of experience as director and co-owner of an industry leading medical-legal consulting firm, she is well known as a highly skilled clinician who handles the most complex of cases involving chronic pain, multiple orthopaedic injuries, brain injury, and mental health conditions. Her expertise is wide ranging and involves personal injury and medical malpractice claims for adults and children, as well as family law, fatality claims, and elder care.

She takes a customized approach to every case, drawing on her large repertoire of skills and ability to pivot as needed and assess in the clinic, patient’s home, and community. The testing methodologies Jodi has developed and published are used by clinicians throughout North America. She promotes a best practices approach during her courses and speaking engagements, and in her Clinical Associate Professor role in the UBC Faculty of Medicine MOT program.

A combination of a big picture approach, focus on the unique nature of each case, and use of ecologically valid tests, allows Jodi to excel as a clinician, educator, and business owner.
